National/international guests who wish to participate in the symposium should follow the steps listed below to complete their application:
•Participants who will attend the symposium with a poster or oral presentation must prepare their abstract according to the rules specified below and send them to gerosymp24@gmail.com by September 30, 2024.

15 minutes will be allocated for each speaker in oral presentations.
Accepted abstracts will be announced on October 7, 2024.
Participants whose abstracts are accepted for oral presentation must send their presentations in Microsoft Office PowerPoint format to gerosymp24@gmail.com by November 15, 2024.
•Participants whose abstracts are accepted for poster presentation must prepare their posters and send them in PDF and Word format to gerosymp24@gmail.com by November 15, 2024. Participants will display their printed posters on the date and area specified in the program.
Oral or poster abstracts should be prepared in Turkish and English languages according to the rules specified below.
Abstract Preparation Rules
The official languages of the symposium are English and Turkish. Those participating from Türkiye may present in Turkish.
• Abstracts should not exceed 400 words and should clearly state the sections "Introduction-Aim", "Materials-Methods", "Results", "Discussion-Conclusion" and "Keywords". Immediately after the abstract, at least 3 and at most 5 alphabetically sorted keywords should be written.
Each presenting author can have a maximum of 1 oral and 2 poster presentations and only one registration fee payment is sufficient for all presentations. All accepted and presented abstracts will be published in the symposium abstract book and on the website in PDF version.
APA 7 style should be used when writing abstract texts, font type should be Times New Roman (font size 12) and 1.5 line spaced. For more detailed information, "Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association" (7th ed.), http://apastyle.org can be read.
Abstract texts should be prepared with 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment, 12 point size and Times New Roman font. The paper should be A4 size and there should be a 4 cm margin on the left side of the pages and 2.5 cm margins on the other sides.
The deadline for abstract submission is September 30, 2024.
Accepted oral presentation/poster abstracts will be announced on October 7, 2024.
The final registration for accepted abstracts is October 20, 2024. Please refer to the registration section to pay the abstract fee.
Sempozyuma katılmak isteyen ulusal/uluslararası konukların aÅŸağıda sıralanan akışı takip ederek baÅŸvurusunu gerçekleÅŸtirmesi gerekmektedir:
Sempozyuma poster ya da sözlü sunum ile katılacak olan katılımcıların sempozyuma kaydını yaptırdıktan sonra 30 Eylül 2024 tarihine kadar özet metin bildirilerini aÅŸağıda belirtilen kurallara uygun olarak hazırlaması ve gerosymp24@gmail.com e-posta adresine göndermeleri gerekmektedir.
Sözlü bildiri sunumlarında her konuÅŸmacı için 15 dakikalık süre ayrılacaktır.
Kabul edilen bildiriler 07 Ekim 2024 tarihinde ilan edilecektir.
Bildirileri sözlü sunum olarak kabul edilen katılımcılar, sözlü tam metin sunumlarını sözlü yazım kurallarına uygun ÅŸekilde kendileri hazırlayarak, 15 Kasım 2024 tarihine kadar Microsoft Office Power Point formatında gerosymp24@gmail.com e-posta adresine gönderilmesi gerekmektedir.
Bildirileri poster sunumu olarak kabul edilen katılımcılar, posterlerini poster yazım kurallarına uygun ÅŸekilde hazırlayarak, 15 Kasım 2024 tarihine kadar Pdf ve Word formatında gerosymp24@gmail.com e-posta adresine göndermelidirler. Programda yer alan ve poster bildiriler için ayrılmış alanlarda e-poster olarak sunum yapılacaktır.
Sözlü ya da poster bildiri özetleri aÅŸağıda belirtilen kurallara uygun olarak, Türkçe ve Ä°ngilizce dilde hazırlanmalıdır.
Bildiri Hazırlama Kuralları
Sempozyumun resmi dili Ä°ngilizcedir ve tüm bildiri ve sunumlar Ä°ngilizce hazırlanmalıdır. (Türkiye’den katılım saÄŸlayacak olanlar sunumlarını Türkçe yapabilirler.)
Bildiriler 400 kelimeyi aÅŸmamalı ve "GiriÅŸ-Amaç", "Gereç-Yöntem", "Bulgular", "Tartışma-Sonuç" ve "Anahtar Kelimeler" kısımlarını açıkça belirtmelidir. Bildirinin hemen sonrasında alfabetik sıralanmış en az 3 en fazla 5 adet anahtar kelime yazılı olmalıdır.
Her sunucu yazar en fazla 1 sözel ve 2 poster bildiri sahibi olabilir ve tüm bildirileri için yalnızca bir kayıt ücreti ödemesi yeterlidir. Kabul edilen ve sunulan tüm bildiriler sempozyum bildiri kitabında ve web sayfasında PDF versiyonunda yayınlanacaktır.
Özet metinler yazılırken APA stili kullanılmalı, font tipi Times New Roman (font büyüklüÄŸü 12) ve 1,5 satır aralığıyla olmalıdır. Daha detaylı bilgi için “Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association” (7th ed.), http://apastyle.org okunabilir.
Özet bildiri metinleri 1,5 satır aralığıyla, iki yana dayalı ÅŸekilde, 12 punto boyut ve Times New Roman yazı tipiyle hazırlanmalıdır. Bildiri yazımında kağıt A4 boyutunda olmalı ve sayfaların sol kenarında 4 cm, diÄŸer kenarlarında ise 2,5 cm boÅŸluk bırakılmalıdır.
Özet metin bildiri gönderimi için son tarih: 30 Eylül 2024’tür.
Kabul edilen sözlü bildiri/poster özetleri 07 Ekim 2024 tarihinde ilan edilecektir.
